The nationwide Board for Technical education has authorized 12 new programmes for the Federal Polytechnic Mubi, Adamawa State.
The Rector of the polytechnic, Sadiq Yahya, stated four greater national Diploma and eight nationwide Diploma classes in the college obtained the board’s nod.
He spoke in Kaduna on Monday while receiving the institution’s Governing Council participants.
He said that the college submitted 13 of its programmes to NBTE for accreditation however 12 sailed during the board’s high quality assurance mechanism.
Yahya, who applauded the transfer, said steps have been on to treatment the deficiency within the distinguished programme.
He additionally mentioned that the board had already given the polytechnic the approval to confess college students to the programmes within the 2013/2014 tutorial session.
