Army investigates killing of 26 vigilance group members in Borno

The Nigerian military on Tuesday declared that it has commenced investigations into the killing of some contributors of a youths’ vigilance staff called Civilian JTF by way of suspected Boko Haram militants in Monguno, Borno State.
Lieutenant Colonel Sagir Musa, the spokesman of the Joint activity drive on Operation fix Order, informed the information agency of Nigeria in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, that the army was disturbed concerning the scenario.
Musa said: “The defense force high command is privy to the killing and it is irritating.”
